Diani Children's Village Draw

Euro 45,00 Raised

Kenya is one of the most beautiful countries on the planet, with its breath taking beaches, where swimming on warm and welcoming clear waters of Indic Ocean is an unforgettable experience. Kenya´s rich cultural diversity is also astounding thanks to its 10 ethnic groups.

All this beauty however contrasts to Kenya´s high levels of inequality together with severe draughts, which causes poverty. And poverty is one of the leading causes of children being separated from their families.

Diani´s Children Village, located in  Mombasa, looks after some of  those children and is committed to reunite the kids with their families. If unfortunately that is not possible, the children can call DCV their home, a safe and caring place.

That´s why we are running this raffle: to help those kids to grow up in a healthy, safe and caring place, with the love of their house mothers, access to education attending schools, medical assistance,  among other of their needs – and rights! - been met.

You can help buying as many tickets as you can to increase you chance to win the superb painting by Swiss artist  Jürg Weyermann, who by kindly donating his work is helping the children at Diani´s Village.  Come and join us!

The raffle draw will be on a very special date: August 19th, World Humanitarian Day! We will  stream it live on Facebook (www.facebook.com/careallfoundation).

THE PRIZE

The artist and the piece of art

Jürg Weyermann was born in 1986 in Sargans, in Switzland, and has been painting since he was young boy. He has always prefered acrylic to express emotions and feelings. He got three exhibitions, two single ones in 2017, in Walenstadt, and in 2019, in Sargans; and a group exihibiton, in 2018, in Trogen.

Inspired by the generous nature all around him with its awesome colours combination, Jürg´s work title is "Sunflower", the flower of life, a 70 cm x 50 cm canvas.
